GABE acted as specialist sub-contractor to Jons Civil Engineering Company Ltd for scaffold, metal repairs, protective coatings, and general refurbishment works to the listed St Dominic’s Bridge over the River Boyne in Drogheda. The project included encapsulated access scaffolding, steel and cast-iron repairs, surface preparation, and application of a high-specification epoxy protective coating system, delivered in 2022 under strict safety, environmental, and heritage requirements.
